Asthma

My son is a student of std.12. He is suffering from asthma. His life has been full of restriction due to this disease. He has to suffer a lot of pain during asthma attack. I want to know that does his disease get worse with age. Please help me as I am really worry about him.

Asthma is a disease related to lungs. It affects the airways present in lungs causing attacks of wheezing, breathlessness, chest tightness and coughing. Proper treatment can reduces the number of asthma attack. Asthma may get worse with increase in age. Lungs of asthmatic person started to function improperly with the increase of age. However regular and proper treatment of asthma preserve one’s lungs and prevent it to get worse with the age. .
