This reflex is found in a depression, about 1-3 inches below the sternal notch (top of stemum).

If this reflex is electrical, the patient has an extremely tired or weak heart muscle. It is sometimes a genetic problem when it is picked up as a first major reflex.

Patients may complain of chest pains, congestion, difficult breathing, high or low blood pressure, severe fatigue, headaches, pain in the upper mid-back region, angina or arm pains, swollen ankles, leg pains, varicose veins, bloated abdomens, and indigestion.

Mechanical treatments may also be necessary. The areas that support heart function should be tested to insure proper energy flow and supply. These include:

1. Pinky and Thumb of each hand: The nerves and meridians that flow through the pinkies and thumbs regulate and balance the speed of the heart. If one or the other is subluxated, adjust accordingly. If both the pinkie and thumb are subluxated, adjust all the fingers in between. Add 2-12 Cataplex D, per day, to slow down a racing heart.

2. Seventh Cervical: This area activates the heart speed and rhythm via the vagus and phrenic nerves. Test the reflex and adjust accordingly. Use 2-6 Cataplex B per day to stimulate a slow heart.

3. Towers Meridian Test: This meridian is the innate emergency backup system which activates the autonomic nervous system.

The following reflexes monitor areas that directly affect the heart. It is important to test each of these, especially if the patient has a history of or is currently experiencing heart problems.

1. Cerebellum/Parkinson's Reflex: This is the battery to the brain.
2. Thyroid T-4 and Thyroid T-41/2: The thyroid controls and stimulates the rhythm of the heart.
3. Adrenal Reflex: The adrenals control most venous circulation returning to the heart. The thyroid and the adrenals together give the heart a natural, easy rhythm. An imbalance of either can cause severe stress on the heart.
4. Hemoglobin Reflex: Hemoglobin transports the thyroid and adrenal hormones to the heart.

Use the following nutrition, per day, for 12 weeks.

  • 12 Cardio Plus to strengthen the heart muscle.
  • 6 Cataplex E2 to dilate and contract the blood vessels. It also heals and repairs injured blood vessels, especially the coronary artery. Cataplex E2 works like nitroglycerin.
  • Maintenance/Prevention: Use the following nutrition, per day, always. (Children 0-12 usually do well in one to three years.
  • 6 Cardio Plus
  • 6 Cataplex E2

Nutritional treatments are used to strengthen the heart muscle. Another nutrition dilates and contracts the blood vessels. It also heals and repairs injured blood vessels especially the coronary artery.
