Protefood ®

Here is a product for helping people with their protein metabolism. Protefood contains the essential amino acids. I don't know if you're aware of the different types of amino acids. There are some 22 in all, and eight of these are called "essential," although some authorities feel there are ten essential amino acids. At any rate, if you're getting the essential amino acids in your food, your body can make the others. Also, what amino acids you are getting in your food can only be utilized if the essential amino acids are all present.

It's these essential amino acids which are most likely to be deficient in the diet, as they are so quickly destroyed by heat -- "heat labile" they're called. A person might eat plenty of protein foods, but if he's not getting the essential; amino acids -- maybe his meat is overcooked -- then the amino acids that are viable won't be utilized in the tissues. They remain circulating in the blood stream. So the person takes Protefood, and now he has the missing factors which enable him to utilize the amino acids already in his blood. The protein level in his blood begins to go down, because now the amino acids are being used by the cells.*

It's as though you're running a watch factory, and you have everything but the mainsprings. So your production line is quiet. You're not making any watches even though your warehouse is full off all the other watch parts. A little package comes in the mail, full of mainsprings. So now you can start your production line going and make watches again. What happens to the warehouse? It empties out because all of these parts can now be used. People with poor protein metabolism have a lot of protein in their blood which they can't use, due to a lack of the essential amino acids.*

So we give them the necessary factors, and now they can use up all the parts and the warehouse is emptied out. Well, that's what Protefood is. It is a very high concentration of the essential amino acids. When we originally made Protefood, it was for a doctor who wanted to give a patient protein. He wanted to give the patient two capsules with a glass of water in his office. He said "Then next week when he comes back, I want to give him two more. I don't want to give him the bottle to take home." So we designed Protefood so that two capsules a week would be sufficient, although it works better if you take one every day. Usually one daily is ample. The main symptom indicating a need for it is fatigue. Some people take more than one daily. Suppose a person has weak adrenals or a low metabolism, this will help him.
