Betaine Hydrochloride

Hydrochloric acid source, supports protein digestion, GI tract pH, iron and calcium absorption, normalize stomach pH.

USE FOR. Flatulence, indigestion, malassimilation, pernicious anemia, demineralization, vomiting and diarrhea.

This is a hydrochloric acid therapy product containing betaine hydrochloride, pepsin and ammonium chloride. As soon as this is put in a solution (the stomach), the betaine, which is a B factor, and the hydrochloric acid, separate. This makes hydrochloric acid available to the stomach - good for the people who cannot digest protein or absorb minerals. Betaine hydrochloride also contains pepsin, another proteolytic enzyme normally found in the stomach (see Zypan). Proteolytic means "protein-digesting." We also put ammonium chloride in betaine hydrochloride. This is an acidifying factor, supplying the chlorides which are deficient in people who have an over-alkaline GI tract. Ammonium chloride is helpful to people with alkalosis in the tissues, as in osteoarthritis the arthritis in which the person has calcium deposits. We have another product which contains even more ammonium chloride than betaine hydrochloride. It's called Calamo.

Hydrochloric acid is necessary to digest protein. Also, hydrochloric acid makes the chyme, the mass of food going into the duodenum, more acid. The more acid it is, the more the pancreas is stimulated to produce proteolytic enzymes - trypsin, lipase and amylase.

  • Aids in maintaining proper pH balance
  • Betaine hydrochloride is an acidifying compound providing the chlorides useful in the support of proper acid/alkaline balance.*
  • Helps maintain a healthy {immune_system} immune system
  • Among many other important functions, the role of calcium in the diet has also been shown to increase immune efficiency. While the human body requires calcium daily for many different reasons, it is often lacking in many diets today.*
  • Helps maintain healthy function of the sinuses and lungs

  • Organic farming methods - low-till cultivation, natural fertilizers, compost, and a healthy, balanced eco-system
  • Ensures plants are nutritionally complete and free of synthetic pesticides

  • Upon harvesting, nutrient-rich plants are immediately washed and promptly processed
  • Preserves nutritional integrity
  • Exclusive low- temperature, high-vacuum drying technique
  • Preserves the plant's and tissue's enzymatic vitality and nutritional potential
