Questions about ordering

Can I order if I am not an established client?

Nutritional products are ONLY sold to clients who have been assigned an online doctor and have been prescribed supplements specific for their condition. Other products available in the online store can be purchased by the general public.

How do I order? - Step by step

Click on one of our product categories or use our search function. When you see an item you like, click on it to get product details. Click on the Add button to add it to your Shopping Bag. Continue shopping until you're ready to check out.

If you've finished shopping simply click "Checkout". If it's the first time you've shopped with us you'll need to set up a customer profile. If you've already registered, simply log in with your user name and password to complete your order.

Review your order and update any quantities or the items you've put in your cart if necessary. You'll need a secure browser and your credit card to order online.

NOTE: Nutritional supplements are not for sale to the general public and can only be ordered if you are an established client and the products are recommended by your assigned online doctor.

How can I use the Search and Advanced Search to order?

Our search function appears on every page. If you have an idea of what you want, just type in a keyword, and hit "Go". Any items that apply to that keyword will come up in your search results, with a thumbnail image and a short description. If you get too many results, choose a department from the drop-down menu to narrow it down. When you see something you are interested in, just click on the image or name. You will be brought to the item page where you can add it to your shopping bag.

To use the advanced search, pick "Advanced Search" from the drop-down menu and hit "Go". Advanced Search parameters are set up for Furniture and Hardware. You can search by material, style, finish, or keyword. Use a variety of parameters to narrow your search down. We will have advanced searches for other departments in the future.

How do I remove items from my order?

If your shopping bag is not checked out yet, just change the quantity of the item in your shopping bag to zero. Once you've checked out, we can not cancel an order if it is already in the shipping process. Please call us at (727) 461-7354 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time to speak with someone in our Customer Service Dept to inquire about cancelling an order.

How can I make changes to my order?

If your shopping bag is not checked out yet, just change the quantity of the item in your shopping bag to zero to delete an item. To increase the quantity, enter the new quantity, and hit "Update". Once you've checked out, we may not be able to change an order if it is already in the shipping process. Please call us at (727) 461-7354 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time to speak with someone in our Customer Service Dept about canceling an order.

How can I cancel my order completely?

If you are in the process of checking out, and decide you'd rather cancel the order, simply scroll to the bottom of the screen, and click the "cancel this order" button. Once an order has been placed, it can not be cancelled. If you desire a refund on a purchase, please refer to our refund policies here.

How do I ship to an address other than my billing address?

Once you've finished shopping, click on the "Your Shopping Bag" link to view the contents of your bag. Once you've confirmed that everything is correct, go ahead and click "checkout." This screen will ask you to verify your billing and shipping addresses. In order to send items to more than one address - scroll to the bottom of the screen and click the "you may wish to send items to more than one address" link.

Specific Questions about ordering

Why is it necessary to register on your site to complete a transaction?

Registering your personal information on our website makes it easier for you next time you want to place an order. We’ll already have all the information we’ll need, so ordering will be a breeze. Plus, when we have special offers, you’ll be the first to know.

Why do I need to log in?

Please log in so we know it's you. Your personal information is password protected, so in order to complete your purchase or access your previous orders, you must log in using your password.

How will I know that you've received my order?

We'll eMail you a confirmation of your order placement, providing we have an accurate eMail address. This will include order # and total amount to be charged. If your order is received by 3:00 pm CST your order will ship the same day.

How will I get confirmation that my order shipped?

How do I know if my items are available or back ordered?

On very rare occasions products may not be in stock. Although this doesn't happen that often, it is impossible for us to know at the time you order if this is the case. We do, however, ask our vitamin companies to inform us if an item is backordered. Once we know this our Customer Service person will email or call you and inform you of the same. We'll give you our best estimate of when we expect to the product to ship.

What tax rate are you charging me?

At this time tax is charged on Air and Water purification products. There is no tax being charged on nutritional supplement orders.

What credit cards do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover.

Is my credit card information secure?

Yes, we encrypt all information sent via the Internet, so that data arrives privately and securely at its destination.

We understand you may have concerns about entering personal or credit card information over the internet. To ensure that information entered on the internet cannot be abused, we have implemented a security protocol called SSL. (Secure Socket Layer) SSL encrypts all information entered on our site before it is sent over the internet. SSL prevents eavesdropping and ensures data integrity during communications.

Encryption is the process of taking the characters you enter at your computer keyboard and scrambling them into bits of code before transmission. The bits are securely transmitted over the internet to be deciphered when received by BecomeHealthyNow.com. To anyone else, the information would be unreadable.

Items are charged to you when you place your order.

How does my order ship?

All orders are shipped UPS Standard Ground or US Postal Mail priority depending on your location. If you wish to expedite your order and have it shipped either 2nd day or Next Day Air, you must contact us immediately after you place your order. Once your products are packaged, the shipping method can not be changed. You can call us at (727) 461-7354 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time to speak with someone in our Customer Service Dept about delivery details.

How long can I expect delivery to take?

Supplement orders placed before 2:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time are shipped the same day via UPS Regular ground freight. Your order will be sent directly from the vitamin company unless otherwise specifed at the time of your order. (Supplements are shipped Monday - Friday). UPS ground or UP Postal Mail are the standard methods for shipping depending on your location. If you wish to have your order shipped 2nd day or next day air, you must specify this at the time of the order. You can view an estimated shipping time schedule here. How will I get confirmation that my order shipped?

How do I check on the status of my order?

Easy! Refer to the email that you were sent with the link to the UPS web site. Your expected date of delivery will be displayed. If you've lost that email, call us at (727) 461-7354 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. EST to check the status of your order.

How do I calculate shipping?

We will add sales tax and local taxes on merchandise for orders that are to be shipped to Florida. All other states are not taxed. Vitamin supplements are not taxed but all other durable goods are.

Does BecomeHealthyNow.com ship outside the USA?

We will ship to all US states and territories. We also ship to Canada and England. All international customers are responsible for surcharges, taxes and duties on their orders. Some items cannot be shipped outside the Continental US, or may require additional freight charges. Rush Delivery is available outside the Continental US on a per order basis. I have a "simple" question regarding my health. Can I get free advice?

If you had a simple question regarding your health you'd already have solved it or you wouldn't be looking for a solution. The truth is that there are very rarely "simple" answers to health problems. The majority of people who become clients on this site have already been to three and many times up to ten different doctors looking for solutions. If you question is really that simple, find the answer in the many health forums on the web.

If you're looking for professional advice, you can start by taking our free on-line test. You'll speak to a licensed health care provider. If he/she thinks you can receive help, this will be decided.

How do I know that I'm receiving expert advice by "real" doctors/clinicians?

Good question and you have every right to know. Go to the Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Boards web site or go to the individual practitioner's state that he/she practices in and check that doctor's licensing status.

What services do you offer if I sign up as a client?

BecomeHealthyNow.com is a full featured health portal. What is different is that we also offer professional advice and treatment recommendations to clients who sign up and want personalized recommendations to improve their health.

This includes a complete line of laboratory tests as well as detailed health questionnaires that can pin-point the underlying causes of your health problems.

What are my responsibilities as an on-line client?

As of October, 2006, I have treated several thousand on-line clients. It is obvious to me that those clients who share responsibility in improving their health get better results. For a complete list of your responsibilities as an on-line client, see our Terms & Conditions.

What are your appointment policies?

You are sent email reminders 10 days before your scheduled appointment. The reminder allows you to automatically confirm your appointment as well as the phone number you want us to call you at. That means you need to check your email as least one time every ten days as well as have your email address current. Our doctors don't memorize their client's email addresses or phone numbers.

Rescheduling must take place 24 hours or more prior to your scheduled appointment. You will be deducted 15 minutes of consultation time if your appointment is not re-scheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Please remember that other clients could take your appointment slot and your missed appointment prevents us from getting the results you want.

What do I do if I need to reschedule an appointment?

Rescheduling is done ONLY by telephone and NEVER by email. Realize that there are thousands of people that are continually scheduling consultations and the appointment you want may not be available by the time an email is returned and read by you. When you call, the doctor looks for the available time slots and schedules you based on real-time availability. You're guaranteed the appointment time when you call.

What do I do if I'm unhappy with my results?

Speak to your on-line doctor. Ask yourself if you're truly following your on-line doctor's recommendations. Be honest with yourself and your doctor. Think about other ways that you can be more responsible for your health.

Is there a guarantee I will get results?

No, but the doctor's who work with this site are highly trained and use nutrition in their practices every day. We strive to have the best experienced and licensed health care providers working with the site.

Questions about Training and Testing

Why do I have to take tests?

Through our years of experience we have found that a person who is uneducated in how the body functions remains to be an effect of his/her condition. You are responsible for caring for your body. One aspect of taking care of the body is to know how it works so that you can take steps to improve its function. It has been proven time after time that a person who is educated in this area gets better results with their health care program. The tests are not difficult provided your look up any words you do not understand.

How do I take the tests?

Go to the overview of the training section of the site. There are detailed instructions there.

What if I don't pass the test? Will I be banned from using the site?

No you won't be banned. That would defeat the purpose of you understanding the material! If you don't pass a test you will be directed to restudy the materials that you don't understand. You will also be instructed to look for any words you do not understand so that you can apply the material. When this is complete, you can then retake the test.

Do I get a degree or certificate when I pass?

We're not a licensing agency so we can't offer you a degree. However you'll receive a certificate from us.

What additional training is available?

We have training packages on all systems of the body. We also provide extensive training in the area of vitamins and nutrition. These packages are described in detail in the overview section of the training guide.

I found this web site and the training extremely useful. How can I tell others about it?

Questions About Returns/Refunds

What is BecomeHealthyNow.com's refund/return policy?


Consultation Time on Account

Any time you have on account is refundable at the rate you purchased it. For example, if you have 30 minutes on account and you purchased 60 minutes, you would receive one-half of the amount you paid for the 60 minutes. Time on account is pro-rated based on what you purchased.

Supplement Refunds

  • Supplements purchased are refundable less a 20% restocking fee.

  • All returns for credit must be pre-approved by the Customer Service department at the phone number at the bottom of this page.

  • All returns must be accompanied by the original invoice (sent with products).

  • All returns must be accompanied by a RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. A shipment that does not have the Return Merchandise Authorization number will be shipped back to you and rejected by the vitamin company.

  • The mailing address to send supplements will be emailed to you once a Return Merchandise Authorization number is issued.

  • DO NOT send supplement returns to the BecomeHealthyNow.com address. They will be returned to you.

  • Credit for re-saleable/re-stockable products will be accepted up to a maximum of 30 DAYS from purchase date. Customer will receive an 80% credit of original purchase price. This does not include shipping and handling that the client is responsible for.

  • Opened products (broken safety seal), products that have any written notations, outdated or shelf-worn products will not be accepted. Products recovered from fire, flood, or other natural disaster will not be accepted.

  • Product must be returned to the vitamin company by the customer. No credit will be issued until returned product and invoice are received by the vitamin company. Customer must pay for shipping cost of all returned products.

  • If return is due to a confirmed shipping, packing, manufacturing or customer service error, the customer will be credited for the amount paid to ship the product back to the vitamin company.

MyHealth Analysis History Forms

If you have requested a refund for forms sent to you to obtain medical history, the following policy applies:

  • Refunds are available for the first 30 days after purchase. There is no refund given after this time.

  • You will receive a refund for the total cost of each history form less a $5.00 processing fee for each history form you purchased.

Laboratory Tests Refunds

If you have requested a refund for laboratory tests, the following policy applies:

  • Refunds are available up to 30 days from the purchase date

  • You will receive a refund for the total cost of each lab order, less a $10.00 processing fee for each lab test or kit you were sent.

  • If you received a test kit from a lab, It is your responsibility to return the test kit to the laboratory in an undamaged state. Refunds will not be issued until we have been notified by the lab that the test kit has been returned undamaged. DO NOT send the lab kit using the pre-paid shipping material. It is your responsibility to pay for shipping. Refer to your lab test kit for the proper address to send the kit.

How long does my refund take?

Refunds generally appear on you credit card statement in one to two billing periods. Since all our online orders require credit cards as the method of payment, your refunds will take the form of a credit back to the same card used to make the original purchase.

Questions Regarding our Online Store vs Our Catalog

Are all of your products available online?

No, not all. Some vitamin companies do not allow us to list their products as they contain proprietary information and we have agreed to abide by their policies.

Are all of your products available in your catalog?

Yes we have two versions of our catalog. One for those clients who are receiving online treatment and one for those who want a list of all of our products minus any nutritional products. If you are not a registered client, request the second catalog.

How do I order offline?

To place an order offline, please call (727) 461-7354 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time. To check on your offline order, please refer to the email shipping confirmation that you were sent or you may call our Customer Service line at the number above.

What if I have questions about the products online?

Each item we provide in the store has a detailed description of the product. Many of the supplements we provide also have a link to a PDF document that you may view with Adobe's Acrobat viewer. Just look for this icon View the PDF File for this supplement when you're browsing the individual products. If you do not have the free Adobe Acrobat viewer installed you can get it here. These PDF documents can then be printed for your reading offline. If your question is regarding the NEED to take a particular supplement or other health question, request a free consultation with one of our doctors. We do not respond to email regarding the need for you to take a particular product or a health matter unless you consult us first.

If I saw an item in your online store but want to purchase it at a drug store or another doctor's office, how can I purchase it?

Our clients are required to purchase products directly from us. The products we utilize are not available in retail stores. The prices for products are in line with the suggested retail prices set by the vitamin companies. Our consultation fees are extremely reasonable in comparison to what you would pay if you went to a doctor's office. We would not be in business if we did not make a profit from the sale of our supplements. It is for this reason that we require to purchase vitamins and supplements directly from us.

Are your prices different from what other doctors charge for the same products?

Each doctor that sells supplements can price their products as they wish. Our vitamin companies gives us a suggested retail price but this is only "suggested". Different doctors and health care practitioners may charge differently. In the event you find an individual selling products who IS NOT a health care practitioner, or if you come across an individual who promises to sell products at "cut-rate" prices, eMail us immediately. We will investigate the situation promptly and will contact the vitamin company as well. We will need detailed information from you. You will remain anonymous.

The integrity and quality of our services is our utmost concern as well as protecting the technology that has been integrated in using the prescribed supplements. We will do everything to protect this integrity and quality. You may also view the code of conduct that our staff is required to follow.

Questions About Your Mailing and eMail Addresses

How do I remove my name from your mailing list?

Go to the Newsletter Sign-up page if you've registered to receive our newsletter and enter your email address. In step four check "unsubscribe". You will immediately be removed from the mailing list. If you are receiving duplicate mailings, please indicate which names and addresses you would like removed from our list.

If you've registered in our on-line store, email us here and we will remove your user profile. You will not be registered in the store once you've done this.

How do I change my personal information including email, billing, or shipping addresses?

Go to the Modify My Profile page and log in. Any changes you make take effect immediately and affect your profile site-wide.

Do you share my eMail address with other businesses?

Browser questions?

A majority of the site has javascript features and you must use Netscape Browsers version 4.0 and above, and Microsoft's Internet Explorer versions 4.0 and above.

How can I make the BecomeHealthyNow.com site look better in AOL?

The site will look much better in AOL browsers if the images are not compressed. To turn off the image compressing do the following:

For AOL 4.0 users:

  1. Click on the "My AOL" icon at the top of the AOL navigation bar.
  2. Select "Preferences" from the pull down menu.
  3. Click on the "WWW" icon for Web Preferences.
  4. Uncheck the box that says "Use compressed images (Pages load faster when on)."
  5. Click OK.

For AOL 5.0 users:

  1. Click on the "My AOL" icon at the top of the AOL navigation bar.
  2. Select "Preferences" from the pull down menu.
  3. Click on the "WWW" icon for AOL Internet Properties.
  4. Click on the "Web Graphics" tab.
  5. Uncheck the box that says "Use compressed graphics."
  6. Click OK.

You may need to click on the refresh button to uncompress the graphics and enjoy the site as it was meant to be seen.
