Human Nutrition |
|
Nutrition: the act or process of nourishing or being nourished; specifically the sum of the processes by which an animal or plant takes in and utilizes food substances.
Nourish: to furnish or sustain with nutriment; feed.
Feed: to furnish something essential to the growth, sustenance, maintenance, or operation of.
Human nutrition is a big field and so many people's health conditions are created by what they put and fail to put into their body. In fact, if the average person put the same grade of gasoline in their car as the food they put in their body, it would be just a matter of time before the car stopped working.
What most people fail to realize is that "feeding" one's body requires the proper ESSENTIAL foods to help it operate efficiently. What most people do in fact when feeding their body is to supply it with NON ESSENTIAL bad "fuel" or food. But it doesn't end there. Politics and money drive what you, as a consumer buy at your local grocery store.
After reading these series of articles, you should hopefully change what you put into your body; unless, that is unless you prefer your body to end up the same place as a worn out automobile . . . at the salvage yard. |
