All About the Foods We Eat
Natural SupplementsIn order to understand what constitutes good "fuel" for the body, it's important to understand just what's in the food you eat.

What you don't know about food CAN HARM and KILL you. The funny (but not so amusing) thing is, is that it's just a matter of ignorance, that's all. The average person doesn't really have a clue as to what they're really feeding their body. If they read this section they would actually perhaps have a "wake-up call" that they need to change their eating style.

In this section, we'll go over the various chemical components of food and discuss their purpose in fueling the human body.

After reading these articles, you should then read the article sections entitled "Traditional Diets" and "Modern Diets" so you can get back to a sensible eating plan that will actually enhance your body's function and not detract from it.

    The first Recommended Dietary Allowances were established in the United States in the 1940s to provide standards for good nutrition. The allowances were not considered permanent, but rather recommendations based on the best available scientific knowledge. Since 1943 the RDAs have been revised approximately every five years as new data became available. In 1985, the RDAs came under attack by segments of the scientific and medical community as not serving the needs for establishing optimal nutrition.
