The endocrine system carries out a wide variety of physiological processes through chemical messengers called "hormones." This system is a collection of glands that produces these hormones, which are necessary for normal bodily functions. Hormones regulate metabolism, growth and sexual development. These glands release the hormones directly into the bloodstream, where they are transported to organs and tissues throughout the entire body. When functioning properly, the endocrine system, is like a fine-tuned orchestra. When not working properly life can be made miserable with an endocrine imbalance.
Standard Process® is the only company in existence that caries what are called Protomorphogen™ products. A protomorphogen (PMG) is that component of the cell chromosome that is responsible for morphogenic determination of cell characteristics. it is the smallest unit of the cell blueprint assembly. It is the smallest unit of the gene system that guides the cell into its hereditary form as it grows, develops or repairs itself. Without sufficient protomorphogen in its chromatin, the cell degenerates, de-differentiates, becomes senile and dies.
This is clinically significant any organ that is damaged begins to change its structure. The longer the disease process, the more change within the individual cells. With the use of protomorphogens, it is possible for the body to repair organs when there has been actual damage.
We offer the following Standard Process® supplements for the endocrine system.
