 Breast cancer, a common cancer in women, is a disease in which cancer(malignant) cells are found in the tissues of the breast.
There are approximately 184,000 new cases of breast cancer each year in the U.S. Approximately 44,000 American women die each year of breast cancer. 92% of breast cancers can be cured with early detection and prompt treatment. One in nine women will have breast cancer in their lifetimes.
