Women are the medical establishment's "targeted" market.
After all, they see doctors 3/4 of time in comparison to men.

As physicians, the drug industry and the media continue to convince women that the benefits of ingesting hormones outweigh any potential risk, the use of Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) steadily rises. During the period from 1982 to 1992, the use of hormone therapy in the U.S. more than doubled and today about a third of women aged 45 to 65 rely on it. Such widespread promotion of this treatment implies that credible science has proven it safe and effective, but unfortunately this is not so.

If you're a female you need to know the TRUTH! If you're a male you need to tell your SPOUSE or your "concerned other"!

Find out more about this and other female conditions.

Breast Cancer
Breast cancer is a big concern for women. These articles discuss the subject in full.

Crucifers and Cancer - A Natural Protection Against Estrogen Overload
We are living in the age of estrogen. The food supply is laden with traces of herbicides, pesticides and petrochemical residues from plastics, all of which have estrogen-like, endocrine disrupting effects in animals and humans. These xenobiotics, or foreign biological substances, have been linked to abnormalities and cancers of human tissues that are hormone sensitive, including fibrocystic breast disease, breast cancer, cervical cancer and dysplasia, endometrial cancer, endometriosis and ovarian disease as well as prostatic hypertrophy and cancer.

Hormone Replacement Therapy - The Risks
As physicians, the drug industry and the media continue to convince women that the benefits of ingesting hormones outweigh any potential risk, the use of HRT steadily rises. During the period from 1982 to 1992, the use of hormone therapy in the U.S. more than doubled and today about a third of women aged 45 to 65 rely on it.  Such widespread promotion of this treatment implies that credible science has proven it safe and effective, but unfortunately this is not so.

Hypothyroidism
The classic medical model states hypothyroidism in adults is almost always caused by an autoimmune disease (called Hashimoto’s disease), in which the body’s immune system reacts against the thyroid gland. The damaged gland is unable to produce normal amounts of T3 and T4. This type of thyroid disease is much more common in women than in men. But as you read below you'll see the model is out-dated.
