Informed and Coordinate Your Efforts.

Study the issue: gather facts at the library and on
the Internet and verify the information where possible.

Subscribe to related publications that provide
reliable, current information.

Attend lectures and classes.

Band together: find an organization where you can
share knowledge.

If there is no group near you, contact like-minded
people via letter, e-mail or phone. If possible, start an organization.
Raise
Public Awareness.

Participate in petition, letter and telephone
campaigns.

Involve consumer and community groups in your issue

Provide local merchants with literature and petitions.

Set up a class in an adult education facility.
Involve
the Media.

Contact the media prior to events, demonstrations and
lectures that will be promoting the issue.
