The key is understanding how our diet and lifestyle damages our bodies efforts to stay in balance, homeostasis. I read the older edition of this book and maybe it has improved in the area of recipies and nutrition but the theory is great. If the new edition has the latest nutrition information about glyconutritionals and biochemical balance then I would up the grade to five stars.
