If you're recovering from a physical injury, gentle massage helps release the emotional trauma, yoga balances the injured and uninjured sides, and acupuncture helps heal broken bones. Decrease chronic low-back pain by minimizing stress, caffeine, and sugar; strengthening your abdominal muscles; and eating black beans, walnuts, and warm foods.
