Chicken Breast / Chicken Fajitas

Chicken Fajitas |

Ingredients 2 tbsp. lime juice 1/4 cup vegetable oil 1 tbsp. soy sauce 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 1/2 tsp. chili powder 4 skinless boneless chicken breast halves 1 medium onion, sliced and separated into rings 1 green pepper cut into 1-inch pieces

Instructions 1. Combine first 5 ingredients in plastic bag set in a bowl; add chicken, onion and green pepper. Seal bag. Turn to coat chicken. Chill 1-2 hours. 2. Preheat grill. Warm tortillas according to package. Remove chicken from marinade. Grill over medium heat for 12 to 15 minutes or until chicken tests done turning once. Or broil for 10-12 minutes. 3. In a skillet cook and stir onion, pepper and marinade over medium heat until vegetables are tender and marinade evaporates. 4. Cut chicken into thin strips. Serve with onions, peppers and warmed tortillas.
Description
Storage: Refrigerate and use within two days. For frozen storage over three months, wrap with foil or freezer paper or place in a plastic freezer bag. Always thaw chicken in the refrigerator or microwave. Microwave thawed chicken should be cooked at once. Preparation: Bake, broil, grill or roast to prepare poultry without added fat. It is done when no pink remains and the juices run clear. can be easily inserted into the thickest part and the juices are clear. |
