Nutritional Support for the Respiratory System
The following Standard Process supplements are used most commonly in respiratory conditions:
	Emphaplex ® Vitamin A from oat flour, carrot, beef liver, and alfalfa helps repair and maintain epithelial tissue that lines much of the respiratory tract and mucous membranes. Vitamins B1 and B2 from fenugreek, wheat germ, oat flour, alfalfa, and peanut bran promote healthy circulation and work together with vitamin A to maintain healthy mucous membranes. The foundation for the function of these uniquely formulated nucleoprotein- mineral extracts comes from the antigen- antibody reaction that takes place during normal cell maintenance. The antigenic properties promote healthy cellular division, function, and growth. The body' s response occurs from the action of these antigenic proteins combining with antibodies that otherwise challenge organ and system function. The antigenic properties of these nucleoprotein- mineral molecules promote healthy cellular division, growth, repair, and function. *
	Allerplex ™ The primary purpose of bovine lung PMG ™extract is to support the healthy function of the lungs and upper respiratory system. Adrenal PMG ™extract is an ingredient that is formulated to help maintain the healthy functioning of the adrenal glands. The adrenal glands are involved in the adjustments the body makes in response to stress; therefore, supporting healthy respiratory function when the body is exposed to stress and emotional changes. The adrenal gland produces cortisol. Cortisol addresses various types of environmental responses. Calcium is frequently effective in helping to maintain a healthy immune system. Fenugreek seed helps normalize unhealthy production of mucus. *

Maintaining your body' s immune system helps keep histamine at healthy levels. Yakriton, a bovine liver fat extract discovered in the 1920' s by Japanese researchers, has been shown to help maintain a healthy liver. The mechanism of action for helping to maintain healthy histamine levels in this respect is believed to occur by way of improving the blood filtering capacity of the liver. *
